Terms of Callster

Last updated: 31 October 2026

These terms apply when a business ("you" or "the customer") uses Callster. Callster is provided by Callster I/S, a Danish general partnership (interessentskab) founded and owned by Max-Emil Sverker Sørensen and Mikkel Sten Gersel, CVR no. 46808266, Jægerstræde 8, 2690 Karlslunde ("Callster", "we").

1. What Callster is

Callster is an AI co-worker for businesses. Callster answers the phone for the business, responds to customers, books, moves and cancels appointments, takes messages and passes on whatever requires the owner. The owner controls Callster through messages (Messenger, Telegram or SMS) and in the console.

Callster is a tool for businesses. You must be a business to create an account.

2. Account and setup

You create an account with an email address and give us the information Callster needs: the business's name, CVR number, opening hours, services and rules. You are responsible for ensuring that the information is correct and that you have the right to give it to us.

If you connect Callster to other systems (e.g. Google Calendar, a point-of-sale system or an online shop), you permit us to use that access for what you have chosen in the console. You can always remove the access again.

3. What Callster may and may not do

Callster only answers on the basis of what you have written or approved. Callster does not promise prices, times, allergens, guarantees or discounts on your behalf, and it informs the caller that it is an AI.

Callster uses artificial intelligence and may make mistakes, misunderstand an answer or be unable to complete a task. You must follow up yourself on what Callster passes on to you and check important bookings and information.

You must not use Callster for unlawful purposes, to mislead callers or for calls that require special permission (e.g. telemarketing without consent).

4. Your customers and their information

When Callster talks to your customers, we process their information on your behalf. You are the data controller, and we are the data processor. This is set out in the data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms.

You are responsible for informing your customers that their calls are answered by an AI and processed by Callster, e.g. in your own privacy policy.

5. Prices and payment

Callster has four prices. They are listed on callster.dk and are exclusive of VAT. You choose one of them when you sign up for Callster.

All four answer the phone, book and send you what needs you. Quotes, invoices, reminders, bookkeeping and a connection to your own phone system (SIP) are only included in Plus and Pro. Forwarding your own number is included in all four. If you have not chosen a plan, you are on Pay-as-you-go.

A call minute is the time Callster spends talking to your customers on the phone, both when customers call and when you ask Callster to make a call. Time is counted per second. The seconds are added up for the whole month, so a call is never rounded up to a whole minute. Test calls in the console do not count.

The monthly price is paid in advance for each month. Minutes beyond the included minutes are paid in arrears and appear on the invoice for the following month. The included minutes apply one month at a time, and unused minutes are not carried over. Your month runs from the day you first pay: if you pay on the 14th, each month runs from the 14th to the 14th. Payment is made by card through our payment provider Stripe, and you receive an invoice for each payment.

You pay for the first month when you sign up for Callster and before you set Callster up in the console. The monthly price applies in advance from the day you pay. Minutes beyond the included minutes are paid in arrears. There is no lock-in period, and signing up is free of charge.

You can change plan at any time in the console under Settings → Payment (Indstillinger → Betaling). The change applies from your next month, and until then the plan you have continues to apply. If you have not paid yet, the change applies immediately.

In the console you can follow your minutes and the expected bill. You are notified when 80% and 100% of the plan's minutes have been used, and Callster still answers the phone once they have been used. You can also set a monthly limit on the amount and be notified when it is reached.

If we change the price, we will write to you at least 30 days in advance, as described in section 10, and the new prices will only apply from your next month after the notice.

If payment is not made on time, we may pause the service after we have written to you.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel Callster at any time in the console under Settings → Payment (Indstillinger → Betaling) or by writing to us. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for. If your month runs from the 14th to the 14th and you cancel on the 20th, Callster ends on the 14th of the following month. Until then, everything works as before, including your Callster number, and you can withdraw the cancellation in the console. The month you have paid for is not refunded. After Callster ends, no new payment is charged. Minutes beyond the included minutes that have been used up to the end date appear on the final invoice.

When Callster ends, your Callster number is disconnected. Turn off call forwarding from your own number so that your customers do not call in vain. The Callster number is released no earlier than 30 days after Callster ends and can then no longer be used. If you want to keep the number, for example by moving it to another telephone provider, write to us before Callster ends.

When Callster ends, we immediately delete the logins and keys to your systems that Callster has stored. We delete your other data no later than 30 days after Callster ends, as described in the data processing agreement and at callster.dk/slet-data.

We may terminate the agreement with 30 days' notice. In the event of a material breach of the terms, we may close the account immediately.

7. Operation and changes

We take pains to ensure that Callster always works, but we cannot promise that the service is error-free or always available. If there are operational problems, we will write to you.

We improve Callster on an ongoing basis. If we change something that is significant to you, we will write to you first.

8. Liability

Callster is not liable for indirect loss, e.g. lost revenue, lost customers or lost data, or for faults in systems we do not own (e.g. telephone networks, calendars and point-of-sale systems).

Our total liability can never exceed the amount you have paid for Callster in the last three months before the damage occurred.

The limitations do not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence.

9. Rights

Callster, including software, voices, texts and design, belongs to us. Your data belongs to you.

10. Changes to the terms

We may change the terms with 30 days' notice by email. If you continue to use Callster after the change, the new terms apply.

11. Governing law and venue

The agreement is governed by Danish law. Disputes are settled by the District Court of Roskilde (Retten i Roskilde) as the court of first instance.
